Filming a Fox 97 TV Commercial

October 1995 "Morning Mouth"

Super Bowl 28 Flashback.

25 years ago, some of the Fox 97 crew were on the field during the opening ceremonies of Super Bowl 28. We were holding down the very large, inflatable Vince Lombardi trophy when the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys took the field. (Photo: Spiff, Mark Bell, Randy)

National anthem: Natalie Cole
Coin toss: Joe Namath
Halftime show: The Judds, Clint Black, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker
Final Score: Cowboys 30, Bills 13

Where it all began ...

Since it was recently National Radio Day, I thought I would post this photo (taken by Tim Fox) of the WZOK studio in Rockford, IL. This is the studio where "The Randy & Spiff Show" was created back in 1985. The studio and building are long gone. And so is "The Randy & Spiff Show."

Alive and Kicking

Contrary to the rumors floating around out there (Spiff is dead and Randy is in rehab) ... both Randy & Spiff are still alive and kicking. If you hear a different story ... it's FAKE NEWS!

Reality Check

It's been over 5 years since the "Randy & Spiff Morning Show" last appeared on the Atlanta radio airwaves.  Not one call from a program director ... station manager ... or operations manager requesting our service.  Only several calls from someone in India attempting to fix an apparent problem I have with my Microsoft Windows program.  What I'm saying is ... "It's Over!"

Randy & Spiff were featured in many Television Campaigns over the years.  Here are four :30 spots produced by Steve Stockman for Fox 97 in Atlanta.  These are part of the "Pay Every Listener" and "Do Anything For Our Listeners" campaigns.
